Survey to shed light on smart cities16/08/17Science & Technology
SmartCitiesWorld, in conjunction with Philips Lighting, has launched a worldwide survey that seeks to understand and identify key attitudes regarding smart cities and their implementation.
The results will help produce a new white paper.
The survey, which is being sent to over 25,000 contacts across 26 countries during August and September, will publish it findings in autumn 2017.
Melony Rocque, executive editor at SmartCitiesWorld, said: “Data is the life blood of any smart city. The sharing and analysis of it provides useful insights that can be revelatory. A survey that reveals the perceptions and understanding of smart cities and the internet of things [IoT] from the viewpoint of different stakeholders is a worthwhile process which can help to identify the drivers and blockers to smart city implementation, and how these can be eased to enable successful, dynamic cities of the future.”
The survey consists of 15 questions which should take 3-5 minutes to complete in all and can be accessed here.
